Great fun at Sailability Junior Summer Course

The NYC held its first post-Covid week-long Sailability Summer Course for 8-17 year-olds from 20th – 24th June.   In fantastic weather with plenty of sunshine Sailability junior sailors had a great week of sailing and boating.   Thanks to the great team of instructors and volunteers there was plenty of fun alongside the learning.  The pictures say it all….Click Here

2022/2023 TY Programme Expression of Interest Form

The TY Sailing Members Program has run for a number of years now, very successfully between the Dun Laoghaire clubs and has proved to be a great way to keep our teenagers involved in sailing, prepare them for instructing and build lifelong friendships so we really hope they get involved.

The main social parts are an Action and Adventure Course, 1720 sailing, Team Racing, Tall Ships, Heir Island Trip, B-Academy and Flossy & The Beach Cleaners.

The Certified Courses are the Powerboat Licence, Navigation, VHF Licence, Mark Laying, Child Safeguarding, First Aid and Disability Awareness.

Instructor Support Administrator

We are currently seeking an Instructor administrator to support our summer courses.  

Enthusiasm, good communication skills, responsibility, safety, computer literacy, experience of Regatta management and an ability manage spreadsheets are the key attributes required. Valid Irish Sailing Garda vetting, Safeguarding one and First Aid are essential qualifications required. The position is for up to two weeks during the period of July 4-15. Expressions of interest to si@archived.nyc.ie by 1700 on Fri June 24th.
