The TY Sailing Members Program has run for a number of years now, very successfully between the Dun Laoghaire clubs and has proved to be a great way to keep our teenagers involved in sailing, prepare them for instructing and build lifelong friendships so we really hope they get involved.

The main social parts are an Action and Adventure Course, 1720 sailing, Team Racing, Tall Ships, Heir Island Trip, B-Academy and Flossy & The Beach Cleaners.

The Certified Courses are the Powerboat Licence, Navigation, VHF Licence, Mark Laying, Child Safeguarding, First Aid and Disability Awareness.

Please note that the TY Program can only run if supported by volunteer parents. We will be looking for your assistance throughout the year and you will also be asked to volunteer during individual course registration sign ups.

Please complete the expression of Interest form by 1st August 2022 so we have an idea of our population: CLICK HERE TO ACCESS THE FORM

Please note this is NOT a formal sign-up for each course.
If you have any further questions you can email sailing@rsgyc.ie or reception@rsgyc.ie

The information ‘pizza’ night will be held on September 1st in RIYC. As this is the first occasion all the TY’s can meet each other it is vital that you attend. It is also an opportunity for both parents and TY’s to ask questions to the full TY committee about each course.

IMPORTANT – Your child must be a Cadet member of your Club
