Sailability is back!
Following a long Covid-enforced absence, Dun Laoghaire Sailability makes a welcome return for Summer 2022, with continued NYC involvement through its volunteer team.
Dun Laoghaire Sailability is a group representing the four waterfront Clubs in Dun Laoghaire to provide summer courses for children and adults with physical, visual & hearing impairments to get out on the water and experience the joys of sailing.
The Adult course is already underway on Wednesday evenings in the RSGYC where Sunday morning sailing for children aged 8 – 17 years also begins on Sunday 19th June. Week-long summer courses for 8-17 year-olds will be held on the following dates: 20th – 24th June in the NYC and 2nd – 5th August in the RIYC.
Please contact (sailabilityDL@gmail.com) if you wish to participate in either course. There are a limited number of places still available on the NYC Junior Course starting next Monday so sign up quickly if you are interested.
