**Due to the Forecasted inclement conditions on Saturday the Christmas Regatta has been cancelled until further notice.**

Junior Summer Courses 2017 – Dates / Plans

The summer course dates for our two week ISA sailing courses in 2017 are as follows:
Course 1: Tues 6th – Fri 16th June
Course 2: Mon 19th – Fri 30th June
Course 3: 10- 21st July
Course 4: 24th July – 4th Aug
Course 5: 7-18th Aug

We will update around Easter time with specific clinics but we hope to run the full suite of ISA levels over each two week course (Start Sailing, Basic Skills, Improving Skills, Racing, Advanced Boat handling, Adventure, Kites and Wires)

NEW! : This year, we will also be offering a teenage introductory course in Course 1 or 2  where you will learn to sail with other teenagers in the ventures, wayfarers or 1720s.  This is ideal for new members or older siblings of some of our young sailors.

Please note there will not be any sailing course on the first week in July as the Volvo Dun Laoghaire week is July 6-9th

REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE OPEN UNTIL FEBRUARY 

RSGYC reschedules Juniors Xmas Cracker Regatta to 6th February

The RSGYC will be hosting its rescheduled Christmas Regatta and Junior Party on Feb 6th and would like to extend an invite to our Junior Sailors.

Spring Coaching 2017

We have an exciting programme of Spring Sunday coaching sessions (starting 5th March) and specialist clinics (starting 15th January for the DOGs!) for all classes of Junior dinghies (Optimists, Toppers, 420s, Lasers)

RS Venture(s) made available for DMYC Frostbite Series II

To encourage junior & cadet participation in multiple crew boat racing, the Club has decided to wave the charter fee to our RS Venture(s) for juniors wishing to take part in the second series of the DMYC Frostbite starting on Sunday 10th January and running until Sunday 20th March.
