Junior Awards 2015 update

Last Saturday evening the Junior section gathered together for the annual dinner and prize giving which was a great success. This year a new format was adopted whereby the Juniors dinned upstairs and the parents had finger food downstairs. This allowed things to move a lot quicker and Cormac / Louise and their teams did a fantastic job running the event. As did the sailing instructors who ran “gutter boat races” upstairs.

DBSC Annual Prize Giving 2015

Hugh O’Connor being presented with the Lawson Cup by DBSC Commodore Pat Shannon at the DBSC Annual Prize giving 2015.

Hugh won the DBSC September Series sailing a Topper. He is a member of the DOGS training group for Optimists sailors.
