Adult Sail Training HELP NEEDED!

The National Yacht Club is about to embark on a totally new approach to Adult Sail Training from early May this year, and your help is needed.

The new course is 10 weeks long, and volunteers are needed for each Tuesday and Sunday afternoon. The team we will use on each session of the course will comprise 3 paid instructors plus 2 to 4 volunteers. Boats used will be the new Wayfarers, Ventures, and our 1720s.

Volunteers are required to cover several areas, and these are outlined below.

As you can see, we need lots of people…Tuesday evenings and Sundays. Don’t worry if you will be away for some of it

To volunteer, just reply to this email indicating your preferred Role Type(s), and we will be in touch with you next week.

(Basic rib instruction will be provided)

Don’t think about it, just do it!…your club needs you.

GET FINN TO RIO

Finn Lynch (19)

I have been sailing since I was 8 years old, following in the footsteps of my older brothers Ben and Rory, I was crazy for sailing!. I attended CBS Carlow and was competitive in many sports at a younger age before focusing completely on Sailing at the age of 16.

Since I started training hard I’ve been breaking records. I am a 4 times ISA Youth Sailor of the Year and some of my career highlights are listed below.
