The NYC opening hours over the festive season

The Clubs Bar & Catering facilities hours over the festive season are:

Open until 4pm: December 24th

Closed: December 25th, 26th December & 01st January

Business as usual: 27th, 28th, 29th 30th 31st December

The Club will be open on the 31st December from 12 noon until late for the New Year’s Eve Black-Tie Dinner

 

The office hours over the festive season are:

Closed: December 24th, 25th, 28th & January 1st

Open until 1pm: December 29th, 30th & 31th

Business as usual: until 23rd December resuming January 4th 2016

 

The Boathouse hours over the festive season are:

The boathouse will be closed from the 21st December – 4th January

 

The National Yacht Club would like to wish all its members and their families a very Merry Christmas and a happy and peaceful New Year.

 

DBSC Announces New Mixed Sportsboat Class for 2016!

Dublin Bay Sailing Club has taken the decision to support the formation of a mixed sportsboat class to join the twenty other classes racing under the Club’s burgee in Dublin Bay. The decision follows a meeting of the Bay’s sportsboats interests earlier this month…more details.

Is it time for DBSC to introduce a new mixed Sportboat Class?

What is a sportboat? How much would it cost to enter one in DBSC? When will they be racing? Which handicapping system will be used? Providing a mixed sportsboats class in DBSC next year would not only cater for a range of boats currently based in Dun Laoghaire but also maybe foster and encourage new buyers to source “fun”, affordable day racers.

RNLI Fish Supper 30th October 2015

The National Yacht is hosting a fundraising supper, in aid of the RNLI on Friday 30th October at 8pm.

It will be a 3 Course supper and entertainment at €25.00 pp.
