Con Murphy Appointed as ISAF Olympic Race Official for Rio

The National Yacht Club’s Con Murphy has been selected as a race official for the Olympic Sailing Competition for Rio.
Con, an international race officer is the father of Irish Olympic Sailing Star Annalise Murphy, who finished fourth in London 2012 and is campaigning again for Rio.
Con was Irish Olympic coach for the 1988 Olympic Games in Korea.

Flying fifteen Pair David Gorman & Chris Doorly Are Afloat.ie Sailors Of The Month For September

Dave Gorman and Chris Doorly of the National Yacht Club are afloat.ie “Sailors of the Month” for September on the basis of a great half hour or so of sailing in Dublin Bay on the morning of Sunday 13th September.

NYC hosts the ISA All Ireland Senior Sailing Championship

The National Yacht Club is delighted to host the prestigious ISA All Ireland Senior Sailing Championship on 3-4 October.

The J80 boats selected for the event are made available to the nominated competitors for a  practice sail on Friday 2nd October from 1300 to 1800. Click here to book a slot

The former bond star Pierce Brosnan dropped by the NYC Dun Laoghaire for a bit of  Sunday Lunch. 

He is currently filming his new film I.T. on our shores.

Bloomsday Lunch

Come along for our Annual Bloomsday Lunch on Tuesday 16th June Lunch from 1pm followed by Music with “Skin the Goat” Prizes for best dressed man and women!! Lunch costs €30 pp contact Tim or Louise to book
