Nominations sought for NYC Sailing Awards!

Despite the extra-ordinary circumstances we have experienced during the 2020 sailing season, there are still achievements worth highlighting and celebrating!!

The Sailing Committee is looking for nomination for the 2020 sailing awards.  Nominations should made using the form below by close of business on Friday 15th January 2021.

RS Aero Training – January 2021

The NYC is organising RS Aero training sessions on Sunday afternoons in January
Dates: Sundays – 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th January 2021
Time: 1.30pm to 4.30pm
Costs: €95

Instructors wanted for 2021

The National Yacht Club is currently seeking to recruit a team of committed sailing instructors and coaches for our Summer courses. Our Instructors are of the highest quality in terms of professionalism, attitude, technical ability and passion for sailing.

Instructors will be responsible for the development of the clubs youngest members, a role that is taken extremely seriously by the club. All instructors must have current and valid instructorship qualifications for the position to which they are applying and be available for  interview early in the new year.

NYC Topper January 2021 Clinic

CANCELLED

Dates: Sunday 3rd, Monday 4th and Tuesday 5th January 2021 

Costs: €25 per session – Topper charters available (€15/session extra)

Times: 13:30 to 16:00

Limited to 15 participants per day on a first come first served basis (please note minimum of 6 participants required for a clinic to go ahead on any given day)

Santa Visits the National Yacht Club! – SATURDAY 12TH DECEMBER

This year’s traditional Santa’s visit will be a different one.
Children can still come down and see Santa in line with social distancing protocols.  Times will be allocated for children to visit Santa in a special grotto which will be outside the JB room under the balcony and using the pedestrian gate at the East Pier as an entrance…PLEASE READ HERE FOR MORE DETAILS AND TO MAKE A BOOKING (ESSENTIAL)
