NYC Annual Sailing Awards; and the 2014 winners are…

National Yacht Club Sailing Achievement Awards 2014

The awards are presented and the special achievements of these members celebrated at the Sailing Awards Dinner (featuring a special menu for the occasion) in the Club on Saturday 25th April 2015.

Summer Platform Parking Form 2015

The Summer Platform Parking Application form is now available.

Club’s RS Venture first sail and first impressions

Last Saturday the 28th of February Emmet Ryan (RS 400 sailor), Derek Madden his teenage son Frank, David Mulvin (F15 sailor) and NYC instructor Robert Hilliard met up to try out the new RS ventures and draw first impressions and lessons…

4 NYC Nominees for Irish Sailing Awards 2014!

On 6 March, the ISA will be holding the presentation of the Irish Sailing Awards.  The National Yacht Club is delighted that 4 members are in the running for some of these prestigious awards!

These awards are presented to the person who, in the judges’ opinion, achieved the most notable results in, or made the most significant contribution to, Irish sailing during 2014. We wish them every success on Friday!

NYC Boathouse takes delivery of 2 new RIBs

The implementation of the Sport Capital Grant’s investment programme carries on apace…

The Club has taken delivery of 2 new Humber RIBs this week.

This exciting addition will top the range of our existing fleet of Club RIBs. The new Humbers are 5.3m and powered by Yamaha 60bhp four stroke engines.
