Fastest lift-in ever…

A highly efficient team doing a good job at the NYC lift-in last Saturday…

Well not That fast but a nice time lapse video all the same with 3.5 hours work squeezed in just under 3 minutes video. Thank to NYC member Declan Tonge for setting it up.

Proposed New Cruise Berth for Large Cruise Ships at Dun Laoghaire Harbour

Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company will be submitting a Planning Application to An Bord Pleanala for a new berth for large cruise ships towards the end of this month. Prior to submitting the Planning Application they are required to seek the views of harbour users.

NYC CHOIR – We are looking for new Members

The NYC Choir are looking to recruit some new members.
If you love music, singing, and some fun please join us for rehearsals every Wednesday  from 7.30 pm to 9.00pm.
No music or singing experience is necessary. Please contact Joe Hogan for any further information

Transition Year Sailing – Block 5 ( April / May )

This will be the final block of Wednesday afternoon sailing for the TY group.

We plan to return to the 1720s with 6 afternoon sessions, starting on Wed 15th April and finishing on Wed 20th May – the cost for the block is Euro 70.

We also hope to run a number of optional weekend activities:

National Powerboat Certificate for T.Y. Students

 

The N.Y.C. is running a National Powerboat Certificate Course for strudents registered in our Transition Year Programme on Saturday and Sunday 9th and 10th May.
