Davy NYC Junior Regatta 19th July – Entries now Open!

The National Yacht Club is hosting its annual Junior Regatta on Wednesday 19tht July.

Entry will be online only and will close at 10.00 am on Tuesday 18th July 2017; late entries may be accepted subject to the approval of the Committee at the above rate plus €10.00. There will be no exceptions!

Registration will take place on Tuesday 18th July 16:30 – 18:30 at the NYC Race Office.

Competitors briefing 09:30 on July 19th

Launching for both fleets is scheduled to commence at 10:00hrs with the first warning signal for the Harbour Fleet at 10:45 and the Main Fleet at 11:15.

3 races are scheduled.

Update on the Crosbie Cup

Eight NYC juniors took part in the 2017 Crosbie Cup which was hosted by Sutton Dinghy Club over the weekend. Over 50 sailors took part in the annual event where there were six races in Main fleet and eight races in Regatta fleet, the wind conditions were idyllic on both days although breezier at the start of the second day. The sailors representing the NYC were Lauren O’Callaghan who sailed in the Senior Main Fleet, Billy McCarthy, Conor Staunton, Edward Dempsey and Rachel Flood who sailed in the Junior Main Fleet and James Hall, Kate Flood and Lizzie Hall who sailed in the Regatta Fleet.
