Short choir biography
By way of introduction, I am Ealu Thomas, the director of the National Yacht Club choir. The Choir was formed around 18 months ago constituting the members of the National Yacht Club, Dun Laoghaire and aims to bring together the members’ love of sailing and music. We are a 20 strong choir and have a repertoire of upbeat Soul, Blues, Rock, Folk and Pop music taking classic hit songs and presenting them in a choir arrangement.
We rehearse weekly and perform regularly at the club and are working towards the Bronze Standard choral exam from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Our repertoire includes hits such as Hallelujah, Say a little prayer, Sailing, Danny Boy and many more. All are welcome to call into the National Yacht Club to hear us perform.
