On Saturday May 7^th, the Club will host the first of a series of themed menus in the Dining Room. Prepared by Chef Cormac and presented by Henrietta O’Regan, it is sure to be a night of exquisite Mediterranean Cuisine.

Following tradition, starters will be served family style and mains individually but no plate smashing afterwards!!!

Last Wednesday (March 30th) saw the final round of this season’s much anticipated (after Covid gathering restrictions) and beloved Table Quiz!

The Grand Finale started after a Sailing Supper and “Retiring Master of Ceremony Extraordinaire” Ian Meldon displayed all his wit once again to make the evening a most pleasurable experience for all in the audience, before handing over the baton to Michael Hennigan who will have a very hard act to follow next winter…We all wish Michael many enjoyable years ahead trying to, as Ian would say, “shape up all of you Hooligans in this room”!

Dignified but emotional, Ian concluded the evening saying: “I would like to thank all the people who took part over the years, those behind the scenes compiling questions, assisting on the night particularly Sarah Fallon, Mick Hanney, Mark Compton, Larry Power (who held the Zoom fort during lock downs) and  Lorcan Balfe”
