NYC Golf Society UPDATE

FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedintumblrmailAfter a great outing to Dingle in June, with 30 players, and won by Adam Winkelmann (report due shortly),  we are looking forward to the remaining 3 outings of 2011 with great enthusiasm. The first of these is the Kish @ Charlesland, and we are looking for a big entry, so put the date in your diary and text in your entry.   • All players expected to attend dinner.

  • We want to see new people.
21-22 October (Fri / Sat) Connemara Golf Club (Ballyconneely)   2-day event, 11:00 tee-time each day. Staying Abbeyglen Hotel, €139 + 12.5% for 2BB1D, Golf @ €30 p.d. = total cost of €216 for the 2 days. Dinner on Friday night at Abbeyglen, presentation in the clubhouse after golf on Saturday.
25 Nov (Fri) Killiney 12-hole team of two (best 12 holes, you can play up to 18) Back to NYC for Christmas bash NOTE: Limited to the first 32 entries.
       
Note re Kish Trophy: Emphasis is on having a bit of fun at the golf, and a good night back at the National. We are encouraging all to attend the Kish outing, as this is our flagship event of 2011, so bring a friend, enter a team or just put your name down and we’ll get you into a team. More details on the format will follow. Note re Ballyconneely Outing: A fabulous golf course in an unbelievably scenic location where, at the request of the NYC Golf Society Executive Team, all of the trees have been removed – super!. To add further to the trip, we will have a few hands of bridge each day – details available shortly…watch this space for news.
