National Yacht Club Ladies sailing

Ladies Sailing spent a very enjoyable evening in the Clubhouse following the AIB End of Summer NYC members Race with three boats accepting prizes in yet another heavy weather challenging race.

It was a celebration of an active sailing season with ladies involved across many fleets J80, SB20, Ruffian, Flying Fifteen, Shipman, Cruisers, Fireball, Wayfarer, Laser and other classes.

We saw ladies new to sailing joining the Adult Sailing courses, many others returning after a few too many years gap due to career or family commitments.

Winter is fast approaching however we will continue as we have the Turkey Shoot and Frostbites to look forward to.  Onshore we are planning Navigation and chartwork etc information evenings, Pilates, Racing Theory, Racing Rules, and essential Social activities !!  If you would like to join us either onshore or off, contact Rosemary via admin@archived.nyc.ie
