Closing Ceremony of the Flying 15s World Championships 2019

A big thank you to Frank Burgess for taking some more photo’s from the Flying 15s World Championships, Prize given in the Maritime Museum and the closing ceremony. 

Annual Harbour swim – Sunday 15th September 2019

The annual Dun Laoghaire Harbour Swim will take place on Sunday 15th September and will place restrictions to accessing our inner pontoons from 10:30 to around 14:30

As the swimmers will be going across the Carlisle Basin and around the Carlisle Pier, there will be no launch service between these times!

The start of the Junior September Series is postponed to 1500. No dinghy will be allowed to leave the Club’s ‘pond’ (behind the breakwater) until 14:30.

Connaughts Optimist competition held last weekend in Athlone

Some of our NCY junior sailors are participating in the Connaughts 2019 Optimist regional competition this weekend.

They are being hosted by the welcoming Lough Ree Yacht Club. As well as competitive sailing there’s a great social aspect for the sailors and parents with BBQs and movies being shown.
