Have your say on Foreshore Planning

On 12th November 2019, the Government launched their Consultation Draft of the National Marine Planning Framework (NMPF). Lead by the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government (DHPLG), the draft document aims to create a “co-ordinated and coherent approach to decision-making and governance” in respect to marine planning. It includes planning for development proposals by sports, recreation and tourism bodies, which in turn covers the all-important Foreshore Licence.

Irish Sailing Pathfinder Women at the Helm 29-30 August 2020

The National Yacht Club is delighted to announce that it has once again been selected to host the Irish Sailing Pathfinder Women at the Helm Regatta. The weekend of 29-30 August 2020 will see the return of this prestigious event to the NYC.  

The inaugural event held earlier this year was an outstanding success with over 200 women participating in the first regatta on a national level to celebrates women’s participation in sailing.

NYC Next Golf Outing – Woodbrook Golf Club Friday 15th November 2019

Our next outing is as follows…

Our next outing is to Woodbrook Golf Club, next Friday, 15th November,  tee booked from 10:30am. 

Back to the National Yacht Club afterwards for prize-giving and dinner  (8pm) .

Note that buggies are currently not allowed due to the heavy rain, WGC say they need 3 drying days approx before this will change.
