The La Solitaire du Figaro fleet leaves Dun Laoghaire.

The La Solitaire du Figaro fleet set off on their 3rd leg to Les Sables d’Olonne at 12.00 Sunday 14th August.

The fleet sailed an eight mile course that involved a double triangle from the DBSC Pier Mark to the Muglins before heading south down the Irish Sea.

Dun Laoghaire puts on a big show for the Figaro

The Figaro Fleet arrives in Dun Laoghaire

The “La Solitaire du Figaro” fleet arrived in Dun Laoghaire yesterday to complete the second leg of this great race.

The start of the next leg will take place from Dun Laoghaire at 11.00 on Sunday 14th August.

Friday 12th August @ 8pm

A marquee on the platform will serve crusty french bread with Camembert cheese, tossed salad, sumptuous Beef Bourguignon and a glass of French Wine.

Music by Neke Tom Tom a Traditional French Breton band from 8pm. 

Fireworks from the East Pier at 10pm followed by more live music til late
