A very BIG thank you!

A sincere Thank You to all the members of the National Yacht Club who so kindly contributed to our Charity Race collection on Thursday 29th August last, in aid of the Blackrock Hospice Home Care programme

Transition Year Programme for 2013/4

Once again we are running our very successful Transition Year Programme for the coming year.

End of Season Race

End of Season race, Thursday 12th September, race instructions will be published on the day on a notice board in the Clubhouse.

NYC Annalise Murphy and Finn Lynch shine at Laser European & World Championships

Annalise Murphy Wins the Women Laser Radial European Title at home and Finn Lynch becomes the U21s Men Laser Radial World Champion and finishes 2nd in the Men Laser European Championships.

Annalise: “It is so special to win here at my home club. My mum and dad are here, my sister is here. It is awesome, it is great to see all the club members here sharing it with me. They have been such a huge support for me over the last two years. It is great. Rio is still three years away. I have a lot of training to do and a lot of racing, But this feels great to win my first big event.”

‘Ladies who Launch’ NYC Supports Action Breast Cancer

Come along on Monday 9th September 10am – 12pm to have fun on the water, meet other members and support the Get the Girls Campaign for Action Breast Cancer.

Laser European and World Championships 2013

We look forward to co hosting the Laser European and Worlds Championships from 30th August to 6th September. This is sure to be a great event, providing top class racing and social activities to be enjoyed by competitors, their families and Club members.

The Championship will consist of two races each day –

  • Qualifying Series – Sunday 1st , Monday 2nd  and Tuesday 3rd
  • Final Series – Wednesday 4th , Thursday 5th and Friday 6th
