ISORA to Track Races with Wind Tracker iPhone App

Offshore sailors are preparing for the 2014 season with the first ISORA race now only five weeks away. The first race is a coastal day race in Ireland – the Dun Laoghaire – North Arklow buoy – Dun Laoghaire coastal race. At the same time there is also a day bay race from Pwllheli in North Wales.

Is Dublin Bay Sailing Club (DBSC) The Most Effective Sailing Organisation in the World?

Ireland’s largest yacht racing organisation is Dublin Bay Sailing Club (DBSC), which administers the regular weekly programme for the entire Dun Laoghaire fleet. It has been such an accepted part of sailing’s furniture for so long that it might be too easily taken for granted. W M Nixon salutes one of the great cornerstones of our world afloat.

Adult Sail Training – May 2014 – Registrations Now Open

The National Yacht Club is running its first Adult Sail Training course of the year in May 2014. The course will use 1720s (racing keelboats) and Topaz Argos (large 3 adults dinghies) and other dinghies. On the water sessions will be weather permitting. Each course is limited to 25 participants.
