Topper Tuesday Night Coaching – June 2017

The NYC is organising 3 Tuesday nights coaching sessions in June for our Junior Topper Sailors.

Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race

43 boats took the start on Wednesday evening but unfortunately encountered adverse wind (F6-7 on the noise) and sea conditions taking a heavy toll on the fleet. 20 Boats are expected to finish in Dingle this week-end and ALL deserve a prize for this achievement!

Dublin Bay Sailing Club (DBSC) Call for Volunteers

Every week DBSC organises racing on 9 separate courses with an average of 6 classes competing in each.
These races could not be held without the assistance of a significant number of volunteers.

In addition committee boat drivers, mark layers and rib drivers are required for all bar the hut races.
Regular volunteers fill many of these positions. However this season there are a number of positions vacant.

Coach support for Ulsters for Opi main fleet sailors

The NYC is providing coaching support for our main fleet optimists taking part in the Ulsters at a cost of €55 per child.
