420 Munsters in Dunmore East – NYC Report

The 420 Munster Championships were held at Waterford Harbour Sailing Club in Dunmore East on 19th and 20th August in conjunction with the South Coast Championships of the Flying Fifteens. The sailors enjoyed an excellent weekend of racing that started in bright sunshine with a breeze of 20 knots that moderated as the racing progressed. Read more

NYC Kids post great results at Opi Nationals in RIYC

Congratulations to all the NYC Opi kids who took part in the 2017 Optimist National Championships hosted by the RIYC last week-end.

New NYC member Rian Geraghty-McDonnell (pictured) won the Senior Division Overall while Leah Rickard finished 3rd (and 1st girl in the same division!), Conor Gorman 10th, Nathan Van Steenberge 15th in a fleet of 64. Read the full post for all the results

NYC Young talents shine at Irish Laser Nationals

 Congratulations to NYC Cadet Finn Lynch, the 2017 Irish Laser Full Rig National Champion, Ella Hemeryck, 2nd in the Ladies Radial Class and to Claire Gorman, 1st 4.7 Lady and 4th Overall in the 4.7 Class.

Payment for coach support during Nationals for Oppie main fleet sailors

 The NYC provided coaching support 17 – 20 August for main fleet optimists who registered their interest and took part in the Irish National Open Championships. The amount due is €130 per sailor. Please follow this link to complete payment for this on-the-water support.
