2019 Flying Fifteen World Championships awarded to National Yacht Club

The 2019 Flying Fifteen World Championships will be hosted by the National Yacht Club in Dun Laoghaire. The event will run from 2 – 13 Sept on the waters of Dublin Bay in Ireland.

In what is truly an international event it is expected that up to 85 boats will compete with entries from as near as the UK, Europe and as far away as Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand where the most recent World Championships were held.

This 22nd World Championships coincides with the 50th Anniversary of the local Dun Laoghaire fleet and many of the founding fathers are sure to come out and marvel at how these boats have developed and are as exciting to sail as ever.

Laser Coaching Session in NYC – 01/10/2017

We are organising an afternoon coaching session for NYC Lasers with Coach Daniel Raymond this Sunday afternoon 13:00 to 16:00. Boats must be rigged and participants ready to launch by 13:00 Sharp!

Party to celebrate NYC juniors 50th

There will be a Silent auction and  and raffle running on the night but if you are unable to attend you can participate during the week as follows :

You can submit a bid for any of the auction prizes below in advance  by sending  Carmen an email admin@archived.nyc.ie with the details of the  amount that you would like to bid and your telephone no.  Or  you can drop into Carmen in the office and buy some raffle tickets,  or you can send a donation by cheque payable to NYC and clearly marked Jubilee Fireflies .

TY 2017-2018 Programme Announced – Block 1 Registrations Now Open

We have a very exciting TY training programme for this Autumn and Winter, covering sailing, RIB courses, Navigation Courses, First Aid etc etc…!
