Junior Summer Courses 2017 – Dates / Plans

REGISTRATION WILL BE OPEN SOON

The summer course dates for our two week ISA sailing courses in 2017 are as follows:

Course 1: Tues 6th – Fri 16th June

Course 2: Mon 19th – Fri 30th June

Course 3: 10- 21st July

Course 4: 24th July – 4th Aug

Course 5: 7-18th Aug

TY Block 3 – 1720 – Registrations now open

THIS COURSE IS NOW FULL ” Leave your name with Carmen in office to go on a waiting list  and we will see if  I can organise an other course.

The next Block of our 2016/2017 TY programme will be 8 weeks training on the Clubs’ 1720s, starting on Wednesday 1st February.
Please note that there will be no TY session during the mid-term break on Wednesday 22nd February.

Additional Topper Coaching in January

The NYC is organising topper clinics prior to the diary Regional Event at the beginning of February on Sunday 22nd and 29th January respectively from 1-3pm at a cost of €20.

Happy New Year to all! 2017 promises to be a fun filled, exciting year for our Optimist Sailors. The first big event of the year is Baltimore Spring Training Week.

Baltimore week is a fantastic week of sailing for all Optimist sailors of all levels of ability. It takes place during the February mid-term break from Sunday 19th February to Friday 24th February 2017.

The closing date to enter Baltimore Spring Training Week is on January 16th! This is only 5 days away, so don’t miss out and ENTER TODAY!

Junior Awards 2016 – Update

Last Saturday evening the junior section gathered together for the annual dinner and prize giving which was a great success, with well over 150 attending. Cormac / Louise and their teams did a fantastic job running the event. As did the sailing instructors. See all the photos below.
