As the sea temperature in Dun Laoghaire starts to rise it is time to start planning our Summer Sailing!

Today the temperature of the sea recorded it first rise of the year from a chilly winter low of 8°C  to a balmy 9°C. So time to start thinking about Summer Sailing!

NYC Topper Sailors at CLYC Event

On  March 30th three of our Topper sailors travelled to Rostrevor for the first Topper event of the year at CLYC.

There will be 5 consecutive courses run in 2014 as follows:

“Baltimore, Baltimore – you must go to Baltimore!”

Thirteen families from the National Yacht club travelled down to West Cork during the February mid-term break.  21 optimist sailors from the NYC took part in this annual IODAI training event.

2014 Junior Sailing Season Starts

It was blowy but it was fun!

Junior Spring Training 2014

Spring Training will run from 9th February 2014 to 6th April 2014.

Coaching fees are:

– €120 for Toppers (6 days)
-€140 for all other classes (7 days)
