NYC Feva take first in RIYC Regatta

Congratulation to Lorcan Tighe and Cian Murphy who came first sailing an RS Feva in this years RIYC Regatta which was held on Saturday 24 May.

“Summer is finally here junior courses begin next week ,Sara Quigley joins as senior instructor for 2014 “

Sara Quigley is a 23 year old Medical student currently entering her fourth season as a Senior Instructor. Sailing since the age of 8, she grew up on the West Coast of Ireland where she progressed through the ISA training programme

The Connacht Optimist Championships were held in Galway Bay Sailing Club last weekend. 14 young sailors from the NYC travelled with their families to the event.

ISA Laser 4.7 Squad

Congratulations to Evie Byrne, Niamh Doran, Nicole Hemeryck and Daniel Raymond who have taken 4 of the 6 places on this years ISA Laser 4.7 Squad.

Friday Junior Summer Series 2014

The Junior Summer Series starts on Friday 2nd May 2014 and will run for 9 weeks.

Optimist Trial 2014

The 2014 Optimist trials took place over two consecutive weekends. The first leg took place in Howth Yacht club and the second in the Royal St George Yacht Club.
