3 NYC Juniors to compete in all Ireland Junior Helmsman Champ.

20 of Ireland’s top Junior helm’s ( under 19) will compete on the weekend 27/28 of September at kinsale Yacht Club for the coveted title of All Ireland Junior Sailing Champion. The event will be held in the ISA’s own fleet of Topaz two man Dinghy’s.

RS Southerns

Lorcan Tighe and Cian Murphy competed in the RS Southerns and finished in  second  position overall. Well done!

Lots of prizes for NYC Optimist Sailors at the Munsters.

The Munster Championships were held in Tralee Bay Sailing Club on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th September. Over 100 optimist sailors competed over the two days. 

Bye Bye Jellyfish, Hello September Series!

Since then the number and size of jelly fish in the harbour has reduced significantly to the situation today where there is only a few smaller ones left in the harbour.  Unless there is a reversal of this trend we fully expect racing to go ahead next Sunday 7th September.

4.7 laser British Nationals

Nicole Hemeryck takes 3 rd overall and First Lady at the 4.7 laser British nationals earlier this month .

Optimist Starter Coaching with DLH Junior September Series

We will be running our Optimist Starter Coaching again in September to tie in with the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Junior September Series of races.
