VonZipper Irish Laser Nationals – Sailing Report

Laser National Championships under International Race Officer Con Murphy concluded on Dublin Bay yesterday with two final races in a stiff SE’ly sea breeze. In the Standard (Full) rig class, Irish London Olympic Men’s Single handed representative James Espey of Ballyholme YC narrowly beat Annalise Murphy of the host club who, Sailing the full rig for the first time, had a great event with four race wins and three seconds.

Leinsterboats End of Season Race

The NYC’s End of Season race, sponsored by Leinsterboats, will take place on Thursday 6th September. With the MOD70’s at the NYC that evening there will be great buzz in the Club.

The National Yacht Club is delighted to host the VONZIPPER Irish Laser National Championship 2012 from Thursday 23rd to Sunday 26th.

MOD 70 European Tour comes to Dun Laoghaire & NYC

The FIVE latest, biggest, fastest ocean racing one design class 70’ long trimarans, the MOD70s, skippered – and crewed – by sailing rock stars (Michel Desjoyaux, Sydney Gavignet, Steve Ravussin, Sebastien Josse, Yann Guichard) are coming to Dun Laoghaire and to the National Yacht Club from Wednesday 5th to Sunday 9th September and will be racing in Dublin Bay too!!!!!
