NYC Juniors shine at Crosbie Cup

Five NYC juniors took part in the 2014 Crosbie Cup which was hosted by Malahide Yacht Club over the weekend of 19/20 July

4 NYC sailors on the ISA Laser 4.7 squad travelled to Warnemunde in Germany last week for a Europacup event.  Boys and girls raced separately for the first time and all  finished in the top 15 which was a great result for their first big international event.

NYC junior representing Ireland at Optimist European Championships

Best of luck to the Irish European Optimist Team, which includes NYC junior sailors Clare Gorman, Loghlen Rickard and Dara Donnelly.

International Competition at NYC Junior Regatta 2014

The NYC Junior Regatta was held in perfect conditions, sun and wind, on Wednesday last. Under the careful tutelage of race officer Alan Dooley the youngest sailors raced in their first competitive regatta sailing four races just in front of the club house.
