National Yacht Club

Attention all Optimist Sailors – End of Seasons entry is now open. The National Yacht Club is delighted to welcome the Optimist Class for their traditional Irish Optimist End of Season Championships (Gorman Trophy) on Saturday the 2nd and Sunday the 3rd of October. For this year’s event, please enter on line through the IODAI website  http://iodai.com/live/1067.html The closing date for entries is Monday 27th September. Late entries may be accepted at the organisers discretion on payment of an addtional fee of €20. Registration is from 08:30 to 10:00 on Saturday morning only and the warning signal for the first race on Saturday is at 11:25. Briefing will be at 10:00 hrs and launching will commence immediately afterwards. Racing for the Main fleet will be on Dublin Bay with a fallback of racing in the Dun Laoghaire Harbour if conditions on the Bay are unsuitable. The Regatta Fleet programme will be in the Harbour.
