Woodbrook Outing Thanks to the goodwill of Woodbrook Golf Club, who have made a few extra slots avaiable for us, we will have about 40 players on the day, making this the biggest Spring Outing ever. The Golf Committee are delighted to see several new faces along with several long-term friends of the society, and we look forward to meeting you all at the presentation supper afterwards. I am told that Woodbrook is playing really well at the moment, and if the weather is as kind as it has been to us, it is sure to be a great day.   National Yacht Club Golf Society The NYC Golf Society formally opens for 2010 membership at this outing. This will give members priority in booking, it will also get you on a new text broadcast register which we will soon introduce, and will allow entry to a special “members only” outing later. Cost of membership is €25 for the year. You will also benefit from a discount on green fees in some outings. The Golf Society funds are used to cover cost of acquiring and maintaining trophies, making special awards, and subsidising at least 1 outing during the year. We are now registered with the GUI, and will return cards to your home club if appropriate.
