National Yacht Club

Once again we are running our very successful Transition Year Programme  for the coming year. We have run this programme for the last 4 years in NYC and plan to combine the programme again this year with the RSGYC  as we did last year, which proved to be a great success, both in sailing and socially and  was thoroughly enjoyed by the TY group. The Programme includes Laser coaching every Wednesday afternoon. Each sailor will need to have their own boat.  The joint programme will also include other aspects of sailing / water skills including VHF course, Powerboat course, and sailing other boats such as keelboats, 1720s and cruisers and possibly day or overnight cruises from Dun Laoghaire later in the year which was a great experience last year for the TY sailors. There may also be a trip to Sailcoach in Lake Garda in Italy early next year, depending on interest.
