Optimist Regatta – Lake Braassemermeer
Ten Irish Optimist sailors have travelled to Holland with ISA coach Thomas Chaix to compete in the Lake Braassemermeer Optimist Regatta.
Conditions are challenging, very cold and windy with ice forming on the boats and launch slip but the sailors are enjoying the challenge.
The group include 6 NYC sailors Hugh Perrette, Clare Gorman, Dara Donnelly, Patrick Coyle, Cliona Coyle and team captain Heather Spain.
