National Yacht Club

The Junior section held their annual prize giving and dinner last Saturday night . The dining room was packed with Junior sailors and instructors. Helen kicked off the evening by giving a great presentation on all the junior achievements during the year (see below). Annalise followed with her own presentation of her career to date including her Olympic campaign to a very attentive audience of Olympic hopefuls !!   We then awarded prizes for the Summer courses and for the competitive fleet sailors.  Finally the major annual awards were presented for outstanding performance in each fleet. With the official part of the evening over the Juniors retired to the disco and the parents had a delicious dinner accompanying the rear Commodore for his Christmas Dinner. A really successful evening was had by all, thanks to all who supported it and also special thanks to Annalise for joining us.
