Annalise inspires our juniors
Thurs afternoon saw Annalise Murphy talk to the juniors on our second summer course. She spoke of all her sailing adventures from an early age, beginning in mirrors and Optimists and taking her now to her laser and moth.
She spoke about her travels with sailing, including her nine trips to Rio, New Zealand in her leaving cert year and the challenges of travelling with her moth!
The juniors were very inspired and had lots of questions. It is great to see such a dedicated, passionate and talented sailor enjoying the sport so much. Annalise signed lots of autographs and notes for our juniors.
We appreciate her giving over her time during her busy preparation period and the Junior Section of The National Yacht Club wish her lots of luck in Rio 2016.
