Summer has arrived and so has Sunday Fun Sailing!!
Now that the days are getting warmer…. We are going to run our family Sunday afternoons of sailing.
The Sunday Fun Sailing will be starting on the 14th of June at 2pm (rigged and ready to sail).
It will be an opportunity for juniors to get out on the water for some sailing with other people, try out a friend’s boat or charter a club boat. Our new RS Ventures are ideal for family sailing.
It involves no racing, no instructors and most importantly no cost – but rib rescue needs to be provided by volunteers. In order to run this we will need parent help both on and off the water.
Why not combine this with family lunch in the bar for a great Sundays entertainment in your club!
Please note – Juniors need to be able to rig and launch their own boats.

YOUR CHILD’S PARTICIPATION IN THE ABOVE ACTIVITY EXPLICITLY IMPLIES THAT YOU HAVE READ THE FOLLOWING WAIVER AND CONSENT TO ITS TERMS.
Consent and waiver
I, being the parent or guardian of the child or children participating in the Sunday Fun Sailing. I accept that our participation in the scheme is at my sole and exclusive risk and responsibility in every respect. I acknowledge that the Club, its trustees, officers, staff and members have no responsibility in respect of loss of life, injury or loss or damage to property that my child or any other person may sustain arising from participation or intended participation howsoever arising. I confirm I will ensure that the child will comply with instructions of the instructors, Club staff and officers. I confirm that my child’s boat is insured against third party liability for a minimum of €1,300,000 to cover my liability in connection with our participation in the Sunday Fun Sailing. I have read the course terms and conditions, understand and accept them, and confirm that I have explained them to my child and he/she understands them.
