Winter Optimist Coaching at the NYC
We have just completed the first part of winter coaching at the NYC. 18 young optimist sailors took part in our pre-Christmas training.
Optimist sailors who qualified for the Trials 2014 had 11 coaching sessions with Tadgh Donnelly. Junior main fleet sailors got 7 coaching sessions with Eimer McIvor and our regatta fleet sailors got 6 coaching sessions with Will Shanahan. The young sailors got out on the water every weekend and had a great time.
We are taking a break now for Christmas and the New Year. Hopefully we will see everyone back in February for more club coaching.
