Again, congratulations to all of this year’s winners of the various competitions which were well supported and most enjoyable. This season we will have a new format for matches. After the draws have taken place, players will be allotted a time and date to play their match; if you are unable to play at the time allotted, it will be the players’ responsibility to re-arrage the fixture and advise Tony Corcoran (m: 086 6030995; e-mail: tonycorcoran@ireland.com). Failure to do so may result in disqualification. The Draw for the McWilliams and Elgan Trophies will now be on 9 September. Matches will be notified by e-mail/text message and will, as usual, be posted in the snooker room.
