NYC Walking Group – Vartry Reservoir
Sunday 3rd October 2010 from Vartry Reservoir at 13.00.
It’s walking time again and we are starting this year with an easy flat walk around the Vartry reservoir near Roundwood.
To get there, drive through Roundwood and bear left at the end of the town opposite the church onto the R764. Follow this road (keeping left at the next fork) for 1.5 miles and meet at the entrance to the water treatment plant on RHS before the bridge.
Bring a packed lunch and, assuming the weather will remain good, walking shoes or trainers would suffice.
This is open to all club members and friends and we look forward to welcoming new people to our group. No need to advise me you are coming – just turn up.
