NYC Juniors Represent IRL at International Events!
Some of our junior sailors met with Peter Ryan, Commodore, in beautiful sunshine to mark the recent achievements of our Junior Section. 5 of our Juniors have been selected for
ISA squads this season which is the biggest number for many years. Emma Cooney, Leo Hickey and Sian Kneafsey have been selected for the 4.7 squad and will travel to a Europa cup in Germany and the Laser 4.7 Europeans in France this summer. Patrick Young was selected for the Topper squad and will compete in the Topper Worlds in Italy and the British Nationals in Wales. Sean Donnelly member of the Optimist squad will travel to Poland for the Optimist Europeans.
We wish them all luck and hope to hear about their adventures!

We also have sailors competing in
World Championships this summer. Will Byrne is travelling to Scotland to compete in the Laser Worlds. Tadgh Donnelly and Tom Byrne are going to the Feva Worlds in France .
