Ruth overall winners of the D2D 2015!

Congratulations to all on-board NYC J109 ‘Ruth’ for their overall win in the 2015 Skellig Hotel Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race.

‘Ruth’ narrowly missed the overall win of the 2014 Round Ireland Race by just over 6mns but, victory was not let go off their hands this time around!

One of the biggest events happens this Friday 12th June the start of the biennial Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race

This edition will have 31 “hot” boats taking part, and as a member of the club, you have the opportunity to come down to view the boats on the pontoon, select your own favourite to follow, and also give them a good send off.

RAYC Bloomsday Regatta – June 13th

The RAYC 2015 Bloomsday Regatta will be held in the RSGYC on June 13th.

There will be no racing in DBSC that Saturday.
NOR and entry form are also available in paper form in the NYC Clubhouse

Rent a Club boat

Want to go sailing but have no boat? Want to helm? A selection of Club boats is now available for chartering to sailing members.

The ‘charter’ duration is set for 3 hours organised into morning / afternoon / evening slots.

We kept it simple and cheap for your enjoyment…please keep the boats in good order for the enjoyment of others.

NYC Adult Sail Training Academy – June 2015

The NYC is running Introductory and Intermediate Adult Sailing courses in June 2015.
The courses will use 1720 Sportboats,  RS Ventures and various dinghies. On the water sessions will be weather permitting.

Ladies’ Race on Club 1720s – Tuesday 19th May

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!! The National Yacht Club is entering its two 1720s in next Tuesday’s race to give a taste of sailing and racing in Dublin Bay on a keelboat to all ladies interested.
