Racing cancelled for next Tuesday 23rd April….Keelboats and Dinghies

DBSC regrets that due to uncertainties surrounding the completion of laying our bay marks, and the fact that recent inclement weather has left many boats not yet ready for the season, racing has been cancelled for our first Tuesday, 23 April.

We have three young members of the National nominated for Awards. Hugh O’Connor is nominated for the Volvo Irish Sailor of the Year, and both Nell Staunton and Rian Geraghty-McDonnell are nominated for the Volvo Irish Sailing Youth Sailor of the Year – if any of our memberswould like to go along and cheer them all on !

WOW Spring Chicken 1720 Racing Registration

The National Yacht Club is entering its two 1720s in the DBSC Spring Chicken series to give a taste of sailing and racing in Dublin Bay on a keelboat to all ladies interested.
This is a fun race and the emphasis is on participation and training and having a good time!

Volvo D2D 2019 – Entries are now open!

The National Yacht Club is delighted to announce the Volvo Dun Laoghaire to Dingle Race 2019, which will start on Wednesday 12th June!

ONLINE ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN on www.d2drace.ie

The entry fee is €350. An Early bird fee of €275 will apply for entries received before Friday 29th March 2019. The closing date for entries is Friday 31st May 2019.
