The official launch took place at a crowded reception last week in the National Yacht Club. Minister Mary Hanafin extended a warm welcome to all the visitors that such a large event will bring to Dun Laoghaire. Earlier in the day, some of the intending competitors posed for photos on extraordinarily calm waters.
