The National Yacht Club is entering one of its 1720s in the DBSC Mixed Sportboat Class series as a development path from dinghy to keelboat racing for our young talents.
This is a fun race and the emphasis is on participation and having a good time! Places are limited to 5 crew (the skipper is appointed by the Club for each race) on a first come first served basis so book fast…

With 4 Club regattas, including of course our own NYC mid-summer’s Regatta on Saturday 18th June, the ICRA Nationals at the door step and regular DBSC racing, members yacht racing calendars look pretty full!

The Flying Fifteen Association of Ireland has announced its programme of events for 2016, with the highlight, the Championship of Ireland, to be hosted by Cushendall SBC, Co. Antrim.

Two of Dublin’s leading yacht racing clubs are in talks over a possible merger in order to rationalise a crowded Dublin Bay yacht racing calendar. Dublin Bay Sailing Club (DBSC) and the Royal Alfred Yacht Club (RAYC), whose origins date back to the late 1800s, have agreed to sit down and discuss the best way forward given the current ‘very crowded calendar…
