NYC Sailors shine at Fireball Munster Championship

NYC’s Stephen Oram and his helm Noel Butler  won the Fireball Munster 2015 Trophy at the week-end amid the largest fleet of Fireballs (17) assembled yet this year for a Regional Event

Liam Shanahan’s “Ruth” Retains ISORA Avery Crest Offshore Championship for 2015

The last race of the ISORA Avery Crest Offshore series that was sponsored by LC Tyres, took place on Saturday 12th September with the race from Pwllheli to Dun Laoghaire (74 miles). The boats compete for the famous “James Eadie” trophy. As like the same race last season, the weather forecast for the race and particularly the delivery to Pwllheli was not favourable all week. This put off many of taking part in what is normally a well supported end of season race…

David Gorman and Chris Doorly win F15 National Championships of Ireland

Congratulations to NYC members David Gorman and Chris Doorly  who completed a text book win of the seven race Mitsubishi Motors Flying Fifteen national championships on Sunday, beating in the process the pre–championship favourites, visitors Steve Goacher and Martin Grady from Lake Windemere. All down to the last race to decide on ISORA Overalls 2015!

The ISORA Wolf’s Head Trophy  2015 for 1st overall in the Irish Sea Offshore Racing Association series of 12 races will be decided today by the results of the Pwllheli to Dun Laoghaire race!

It’s down to the wire for Liam Shanahan’s  ‘J09 Ruth’ from NYC and Andrew Hall’s ‘Jackknife’ from Pwllheli Sailing!
