To say goodbye to Tony…

After 24 years of great and good humoured service to our members, the time has now come to say goodbye on Thursday 17th October (from 6pm) to our emblematic Tony who is leaving the Club to enjoy his well deserved retirement.

NYC Frostbite Series for F15 – 2013

The NYC Frostbite Series 2013 will take place in the National Yacht Club on five consecutive Sundays for Flying Fifteens commencing on 13th October 2013. Entries now open!

NYC Sailors Dominate in Laser Nationals in RCYC

The 2013 Laser Nationals were held in RCYC in Cork from August 21st to 24th. There were many international sailors entered from all over the world preparing for the World & European Championships the following week in NYC.

NYC Annalise Murphy and Finn Lynch shine at Laser European & World Championships

Annalise Murphy Wins the Women Laser Radial European Title at home and Finn Lynch becomes the U21s Men Laser Radial World Champion and finishes 2nd in the Men Laser European Championships.

Annalise: “It is so special to win here at my home club. My mum and dad are here, my sister is here. It is awesome, it is great to see all the club members here sharing it with me. They have been such a huge support for me over the last two years. It is great. Rio is still three years away. I have a lot of training to do and a lot of racing, But this feels great to win my first big event.”
