The death has occurred of Michael Declan Collins, Senior Member.

Peacefully, in the tender care of all the staff at the Beacon Hospital; dearly loved husband of Vourneen, loving father of Adrienne and Michele, dear brother of Mary (Hackett) and Val.  He will be deeply missed by his son-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Removal on Tuesday evening (December 21st) at 5.15pm from Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, to St. Mochonog’s Church, Kilmacanogue, arriving at 6pm.  Funeral on Wednesday, after 12 noon Mass, to the adjoining cemetery. Michael brought distinction to the National Yacht Club with his many years offshore sailing in his yachts ‘Tjaldur’, ‘Clarion of Wight’ (17 ton S&S) and ‘Adrichele’ a Fastnet 34 named afer his daughters. ‘May he rest in peace’ Ronan Beirne – Honorary Secretary
