National Yacht Club

The national yacht club was very well represented with  14 young sailors out of 152 in 3 different fleets . Sean Donnelly fresh from winning the Munsters recently , came fourth in a very competitive senior  fleet. Conor Kneasey came first in the senior silver division. In the junior fleet Daniel Raymond came sixth overall and first in the silver division.  There was a notable improvement in the general standard of our junior sailors including a promising 12^th in one of the races for Evie Byrne (watch this space) and some promising starts  from her brother Conor. Iseult Kneafsey, Tom Shanahan and Oskar Cahill  did themselves proud by finishing all the races… Heather Spain came 2^nd in the regatta fleet and Daire Donnelly came 8^th. A special mention for Caoimhe Totterdel  who at 8 years of age started and  finished her first ever race at a provincial championship . Well done to all 14 of you who competed
