Optimist Starter & improver Coaching with DLH Junior September Series
1. Starter Coaching
We will be running our Optimist Starter Coaching again in September to tie in with the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Junior September Series of races.
“Starters” Coaching is available for the
four Sundays of the series starting Sunday 30th August for level 1 Optimist sailors.
Coaching runs for 2 hours with the aim of teaching our novice Opi sailors to rig their boats for racing and to sail a triangular course plus some basic racing tips and rules. The sailors will learn in the harbour immediately in front of the club.
Numbers are limited. Please register online below; cost €40. Optimist Charter is available separately. Please use this form (same as boats chartered to go racing) to be
returned to the Reception Office of the NYC together with payment:

2. Improver Coaching with DLH Junior September Series
Improver Coaching is available
for 3 Sunday’s – August 30th, September 13th and 20th for sailors who wish to participate in the September Series racing and have completed level 2 and at least one regional optimist event in Regatta Fleet. Numbers are limited. Please register online. Cost €30.
